BDPA wishes you a restful and happy holiday season. It’s been a busy summer and fall for our firm. Here’s a look at some of our work as of late.

A Big Year For Our Digital Media Studio

Protecting the Bay and the Economy with the Bar Pilots

In addition to our day-to-day social media work for the SF Bar Pilots, BDPA assisted with the filming and creation of a KPIX news piece covering the organization’s mission and storied history.

Celebrating the South Bay’s Leading Housing Developer

While helping The Core Companies with numerous projects, BDPA also began boosting Core’s social media, crafting content for project and team highlights weekly.

Reaching Milestones Across the Bay Area

This year was fruitful for celebrating project milestones with our clients. From grand openings to groundbreakings, we saw many projects we’ve been a part of for years reach critical celebrations.

Combining Senior Housing and an Urban Farm at Agrihood

We helped The Core Companies welcome seniors and veterans to their new homes as part of a first-of-its-kind housing development in Silicon Valley that utilizes an urban farm to bring fresh produce to our most vulnerable populations.

Celebrating a Critical Housing Bill at a Grand Opening

Our client, Related CA, hosted Sen. Scott Wiener, Mayor London Breed, and others to celebrate its affordable housing development, Kapuso at the Upper Yard in SF. They also recognized the passing of SB423, which cuts the project approval process from years to months.

Greenlighting a New Headquarters for SamTrans

We assisted SamTrans in its acquisition of a new 180,000-square-foot headquarters at the Gateway at Millbrae Station, a transit-oriented development that marries the agency’s mission and space.

Redeveloping a Residential Building in the Mission District

BDPA worked with the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center on its plans to turn a site that has sat vacant from a 2016 fire into a modern six-story building with up to 35 studio units of affordable housing and ground-floor retail space.

Expanding a Private School’s Campus in Oakland

Head Royce Campus

Eleven years ago, Head-Royce School purchased eight acres of land across the street from its campus.

Since then, BDPA has worked with the private, K-12 school to approve its South Campus Plan, which utilizes the space to grow enrollment, expand courses, and provide new social activities.

We’re proud that the South Campus Plan was approved in September and construction began in October 2023. Our work with the school will help bring:

  • A STEM Center, maker labs, welcome center, and community collaboration hub
  • A 12,000-square-foot Performing Arts Center
  • An updated pick-up/drop-off area to ease traffic around the campus
  • Eight acres of open spaces for extensive outdoor learning opportunities
